La Leche League International
La Leche League International (LLLI) is a non-profit organization that provides breastfeeding information and support to nursing mothers via telephone help and monthly meetings. Accredited by LLLI, volunteer leaders are experienced breastfeeding mothers who are familiar with the practical, physical, and psychological aspects of breastfeeding. Chocolate Milk Cafe
Chocolate Milk Cafe is an Afro-centric peer to peer breastfeeding support group founded by Executive Director Hakima Payne, MSN, RN, CNE, IBCLC of Uzazi Village. Chocolate Milk Cafe-RI fosters health equity in establishing a sacred space for African Americans to breastfeeding while receiving evidence based breastfeeding education and support. Chocolate Milk Cafe is a copyrighted program of Uzazi Village.

Baby Café
Baby Café USA is a non-profit, 501(c), organization that coordinates a network of breastfeeding drop-in centers and other services to support breastfeeding mothers. RI Baby Cafe ~ Olneyville is one of those drop-in support groups. If you would like more information about Baby Café USA you can visit www.babycafeusa.org
Our group offers professional breastfeeding education, advice and support as well as the opportunity to connect with other breastfeeding families.
Come join us for some breakfast, good conversation and a little peer play time for the nurslings while we address your challenges and benefits of nursing.
Toys and activities will be provided for toddlers and older children breastfeeding professionals (IBCLC and CLC) will be present to offer guidance and answer your questions.
*This group is aimed towards new mothers, nursing moms and pregnant women; however, it is open to everyone who is interested in learning about how to support breastfeeding

Breastfeeding support group/New Mom’s Club meets Tuesdays, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the South County Hospital Potter Conference Center. Additional group meets Fridays, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Westerly South County Hospital Medical and Wellness Center, 268 Post Road (Route 1), Westerly. Free. All mothers welcome.
